About the event

Come pull up a chair and join Joy and Catherine in their cozy "friendship living room"!
This is a warm, welcoming space for Black, Asian, and multiracial dharma practitioners to come together, rest, and connect. We’ll share a beautiful balance of gentle movement, ancestral stories, reflection, and open-hearted dialogue. Leaning gently on the wisdom of Ruth King’s wonderful work with racial affinity groups, our time together is designed to offer a blend of nourishing self-care and meaningful connection. Let's hold space for one another, heal together, and deepen our kalyanamitta—our true spiritual friendship.
